We specialize in the representation of financial institutions, investors, title insurers, housing authorities, and select businesses in all matters related to servicing, mortgage banking, consumer finance, title insurance, real estate finance, and the enforcement of mortgage loans.
This is a self-directed, detail-oriented position, and we are looking for someone who is ready to jump in, take initiative, and hit the ground running.
Description:
As a Litigation Paralegal, you will support attorneys with high-volume litigation caseloads involving default servicing, foreclosure, title, and creditor rights matters. This position is responsible for protecting clients' interests by reviewing loans for potential legal action, managing active litigation files, preparing and filing pleadings, coordinating case strategy and deadlines, and ensuring compliance with applicable court rules and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex litigation matters from inception through resolution, including drafting complaints, motions, disclosures, and discovery; coordinating hearings and court deadlines; handling state and federal court filings; and serving as a key liaison between attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, courts, and third-party vendors. We are seeking a full-time Litigation Paralegal with a minimum of three years of litigation experience. Experience within the default servicing industry is strongly preferred.
